FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 2, 2004 BUECHEL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICTBuechel Fire Protection District receives the "2002 Life Safety Achievement Award"The Buechel Fire Protection District was selected along with ten other Jefferson County Fire Districts as recipients of the "2002 Life Safety Achievement Award" in recognition of our fire district not having a single loss of life and the prevention and public safety efforts of our members. This is the second award the district requested consideration for and has had awarded. The efforts of our firefighters and their devotion to duty have been instrumental in achieving this status and they all deserve kudos for a job well done...
