Trustee's

The Buechel Fire Protection District is operated as a Chapter 75 Fire District under Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS).  The Board of Trustees manages the fiscal needs of the Fire District and serves as a governing body to ensure compliance with KRS 75.  Our Board consists of elected and appointed members from the community as well as firefighter representatives.  The terms of office vary in length and all elections are open to the public.  Each year when positions are up for election, fire districts post notices in area newspapers to inform the public of the dates of the elections and the candidates running.

If you have an interest in running for one of the Board positions of our Fire District, contact our Board's Nominating Committee.  Below is a table that shows our current Board members and their terms of office.

One of the keys to running a successful fire district is communication.  The Trustees support open communication and encourage the members of the fire department and community to remain aware of the direction this fire district is headed in the future.  For this reason, the Board's Meeting Agenda and Minutes will be available online for anyone to view by simply clicking on the appropriate link below.
