We hosted ventilation training this morning with Okolona Fire Protection. Sgt. Mellick reviewed classroom content then we moved to the fun stuff with our in-house ventilation prop. Crews practiced operations, by sounding the roof, then cutting a hole to create a simulated release of fire by products. Then utilized tools to release the ceiling below in the prop. Thanks to everyone involved today and Sgt. Mellick for creating the prop and content.
